will be Seeking Nominations for this years

Soroptimist Ruby Award: For Women Helping Women.

What is a Ruby? A GEM!
Precisely the nominations we are looking for.  A “Soroptimist Ruby Award: For Women Helping Women” recipient is...a gem!

This award honors a non-Soroptimist woman who is making extraordinary efforts on behalf of other women.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement, working together to transform the lives of women and girls, through a network of over 75,000 club members in 133 countries and territories. The organization works at a local, national and international level to educate, empower, and enable opportunities for women and girls.

The Soroptimist International of Rim of the World is one of their local clubs.  They have been in the Mountain Communities for over 40 years.

The Soroptimist Ruby Award recipient should be a woman who: has worked to improve the lives of women and girls; has had a significant impact on the lives of women and girls; and inspires and encourages other women.

A ruby is a gemstone, also associated with wisdom, importance, vitality, strength, power, and love - all words embodying our past award recipients.

We encourage you to nominate a woman who is working to improve the lives of women and girls and honor them with recognition they  richly deserve.
Nominations are due on or before March 30, 2024.  All nominating procedures and forms are available online or by contacting Polly Sauer at psauer@yahoo.com
